Courage to Be You

It is so easy to be swept by the tide of temptation and embrace ideas and behaviours that seem harmless but do not align with our core self. After all, it feels good to be part of trends and follow the majority even at the expense of giving up a little of who we are. But to lose the self in the flow of them may be ruinous in the long run.
A core principle of good mental health is the need for congruence and alinement within us. In other words, we are unique and precious creations that thrive on living life as our true selves.
Remaining true to who we are does not mean becoming egocentric and casting responsibilities to the wind. If anything, it allows us to be present for those we love while managing day to day pressures or stresses that stimulates us to be and achieve.
Live life as your core self. Embrace the moments that surround you, turning experiences into lessons that help you become the best version of yourself. Grow with the challenges, always keeping sight of who you really are.
